Lynn LeMay to Visit 1940s for New Series, 'SSI: Sex Scene Investigators'

LOS ANGELES — Adult industry legend Lynn LeMay will transfer a modern crime drama to the 1940s for her new series, "SSI: Sex Scene Investigators."

India Summers is set to star as the lead investigator. LeMay took inspiration from the CBS drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," but she decided to set her own series in a different decade.

"The 1940s are so cool," LeMay told XBIZ. "All the costumes, the stockings, hats and nettings – I want India to be able to control the night of L.A."

After launching her new production company, LeMayzing Enterprises, LeMay jumped right into shooting two multi-part series: "Malibu Moms" and "Malibu Daughters." She plans to keep shooting all these movies in rotation. In addition, she's signed Summers to a one-year, six-picture, non-exclusive deal.

The series will follow two detectives who investigate sex scenes instead of crime scenes. At each scene, the two detectives hypothesize about what kind of sexual mayhem could have caused the carnage. The detectives always come up with two different ideas, which means that the fans get two different sex scenes every time. LeMay said she might even try to develop a video game around this concept.

The male lead remains uncast.

As for her female lead, LeMay said that Summers has some work ahead of her.

"When I think of strong women, I think of Lauren Bacall," LeMay said, and to that end, she's given Summers several Bacall movies to watch and study. Summers has even offered to go to acting classes.

LeMay said she'll announce the male lead soon, and that she still has no plans to perform in any more sex scenes.

"No, I'm still retired, but I like doing the Alfred Hitchcock thing," she said. "I love doing little cameos in my movies."
